On 12–16 October 2011 the IRSA International Institute for Art-Historical Research participated, as it does every year, in the international Book Fair in Frankfurt am Main, which bring together publishers, booksellers, literary agents and authors representing over 6500 companies from more than 100 countries from around the world.

The IRSA Institute exhibited its publications: the scholarly art-history journal Artibus et Historiae, catalogues of art exhibitions organised by the IRSA Institute as well as other materials, among the scientific and professional publishers.

We stopped by at many stands, including those featuring very interesting multimedia presentations, lavishly illustrated coffee-table books as well as fiction for adult readers and children’s books from all over the world.

Name In the enormous exhibition halls we spotted Umberto Eco signing his most recent book The Prague Cemetery.
